I began my career in the fashion world graduating from Lasell College with a Bachelors degree in Fashion Design and Production. Shortly after, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue costuming for film and TV, but began freelancing as a makeup artist. It was one of the best experiences of my life and I was fortunate enough to work on a multitude of productions from photoshoots to movies.

I eventually moved back to NH, and graduated with highest honors from Empire Beauty Schools in Portsmouth. I am certified in advanced esthetic treatments, facial cupping, and airbrush sunless tanning.

 

In 2018, I opened April Gusler Makeup where I specialize in skincare treatments and on-location luxury bridal makeup; servicing New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, and Cape Cod.
